Trade WINS local 2010 GEM award

NHS Leicester City and Leicester City Community Health Service’s awarded GEM Awards to individuals or teams who have made an exceptional difference to improve the health of a local community.

Trade was nominated for The Better Together Award for the Voluntary Sector category along with five other agencies. They were awarded the GEM award for thier sauna based clinic demonstrating improvements to health services for the gay community and demonstrating how they work collaboratively with commissioning services and other organisations.

Trade is very proud to receive this award and were pleased to accept it alongside their partners at UHL GUM clinic, and Celts Sauna. It’s great for a very small LGB organisation like Trade to be acknowledged by the NHS and for them to be able to show that although they are a small agency, working collaboratively, the outcomes of their work are much bigger and far reaching.
