Stonewall’s Ashley Thomas wins Future Generations Leader award

Afiya – the Black and Minority Ethnic health inequalities charity – today named Ashley Thomas, of Stonewall’s Workplace Team, as winner of their Future Generations Leader Award 2011. The Award recognises the achievements of an individual under 30, pointing to a promising and successful future career in health and social care.

Ashley, 27, whose work on Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme develops good practice on sexual orientation issues in the workplace with British employers, said; ‘I’m thrilled by this surprise award, and of the recognition of mine and Stonewall’s work in the health sector over the past year’.
