Tulisa will be the headline act at Lincoln Pride 2019, organisers announced last night. The Number 1 single, “Young” singer rose to fame originally as lead in the band “N-Dubz” (a group who boast more than 10 top 40 singles) and is well-known as the judge on the X-Factor whose winning act was “Little Mix”.
The free-to-attend event will be held at a brand new location for 2019 in Lincoln Arboretum and organisers hope that this will help pride to grow even more in the local community. “We’re pleased to say that this new location will have ample room for the high number of attendees we expect a star like Tulisa to attract” spokesperson Philip Yeo said. “We hope that as many members of the community as possible will pay the event a visit to see what pride is all about”.
The team behind Lincoln Pride also revealed that “Love Shy” singers Platnum will be performing at the event on Saturday 28th September. They’ll be joined by Stooshe, the group behind the top 10 single “Black Heart”.
“It’s set to be a really fantastic day” Philip continued “and we hope it serves as an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate their identity. That’s what pride is all about – making a home for people!”
“For the first time, we’ll have a family area hosted by Think2Speak, with fun and games for all ages. We’ll also have a newer and bigger VIP area along with a great array of stalls for people to browse.”
